We are pleased to announce that we have obtained an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for our HV and SB bolt sets!
The aim of this certification was not only to obtain widely recognized environmental documentation but also to prove our commitment to sustainable development by providing detailed data, verified by an independent research unit (ITB – Instytut Techniki Budowlanej). We hope that the certificate will increase our transparency in the eyes of our partners and help customers make environmentally conscious purchasing decisions.
Thanks to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which is an integral part of the EPD certificate, we can present detailed information on the carbon footprint of the raw materials used to produce HV and SB bolts, energy consumption, CO2 emissions and even the recycling potential of our products. EPDs are essential tools for all designers, contractors and clients who focus on ecological construction. The EPD certificate allows us to compare screws manufactured in the Koelner Rawlplug Łańcut factory to similar products from competitors and to industry standards.
In the face of legal regulations, such as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), the EPD allows us to stay ahead of the competition, drive innovation in sustainable development practices, and build a greener future today.
